One of the most scenic places in the northeastern part of India, Dooars is an amazing place located at the foothills of the Himalayas. Enjoy the thrilling jungle safaris and explore the mesmerizing Gorumara Forest.

The prime attraction of Gorumara is of course its wild life and you will find the list quite spine-chilling. The grassland of Gorumara is famous for Asiatic one-horned rhino. This is also home to other mammal species like majestic Asian Elephants, Indian Bison, Leopard, Deer, Sambar, Monkeys etc. Indian Wild Dogs, Giant Squirrels, Wild boars, cobra, Rock Python, and a variety of other species are also spotted here. It does have numerous small carnivores including various civets, mongooses and small cats. The park has a large resident population of wild boar, but the critically endangered pygmy hog has been reported from the park.
Also taste a variety of hot brewing tea right from the tea gardens of Dooars.
